The Truckn’ Digger truck hoe mounts on a specially engineered, patented, extra rugged framework with special clamps that are attached to a custom frame. These universal clamps fit the beds of all makes of pick up trucks – with or without bed rails. The clamps will not come loose until you choose to disengage them, even under heavy backhoe use. No holes need to be drilled. You merely remove your tailgate for access to set the clamps. Truckn’ Digger’s digging is done by a high quality, heavy duty Koyker Manufacturing Company model KB75 backhoe. From the pickup bed this backhoe operates much like any other backhoe. The swing arc is a full 180 degrees. It has almost an 11 foot reach and an 8 foot digging depth. Its heavy duty hydraulic pump will deliver an impressive 6,900 pounds of pry-out-power at the bucket. The Truckn’ Digger is completely self contained, and is shipped to you with everything that you will need to mount it to the back of any pickup. Installation typically takes about 3 to 5 minutes. Removal is equally fast. The outrigger legs and feet work together with the extended arm and bucket to lift the unit to pickup bed height. Then all you do is back your pickup under the Truckn’ Digger, adjust height, and clamp down all eight clamps. You can then lift the outriggers and take it anywhere. When not in use, the Truckn' Digger will sit safely in place until you are ready to put it to work again. Could it be any easier than that?
