The History Of ceramic/metal composites:
In 1959 in Siberia a group of Russian geological engineers were doing some very deep drilling. At one point they drilled through some ceramic like material mixed with metals and other components, and decided to bring up and replace what must surely be thrashed drill bits. However, when the drill bits were brought to the surface those drill bits instead looked like they were brand new. It took the Russians almost a decade to discover that at over 900 degrees F the energy of the friction attracted bits of ceramic material and metal within lubricant into a composite that bonded at the atomic level with the drill bits, and made them smoother, rounder, and stronger than when they had been originally manufactured.

The Russians kept this marvelous discovery to themselves until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. While the Russians had this miracle engine repairing secret to themselves they used it in engines, transmissions, and other high friction components within their state run locomotives, their military ships, their submarines, and in their weaponry among other things.

When the USSR fell the general scientific community started to learn about the phenomenal chemical reaction that takes place with cermets under high heat and high friction conditions. The scientists at our supplier in Michigan took this revelation and improved on the original formula from the Ukraine by putting together just the right combination of materials on the nano partical size (microscopic) for a more sure integration into the engine friction components.

Manually implanted cermets have been used for years in resistors and capacitors, the highest quality saw blades, body armor for soldiers, gas turbines, jet engines, nuclear waste containers, and have even been considered for use as spacecraft shielding because they resist the high velocity impacts of micrometeorites. But the ECO form of ceramic/metal composite is not manually implanted. Instead, on its own, it travels through engine oil and targets the high friction locations to implant ECO in only the needed locations and amounts in a self regulating manner that is even more precise than manually implanted cermets could ever achieve.

How ECO Works: Within an internal combustion engine mating friction pairs such as rings and cylinder walls grind at one another even when new, and even with superior lubricants that cannot provide an absolute protective wedge. Over time those friction components wear out with the additional assistance of radical hydrogen ions that make the metal more brittle. That creates increased clearance between the rings and the cylinder walls, which in turn causes more vibration, more noise, lower oil pressure, more blow-by, more oil usage, lower miles per gallon of fuel, less compression, poor starts, erratic idling, less horsepower, more harmful emissions, more down time, and much more expense. Eventually an engine under such conditions will need to be rebuilt or replaced, but even before an engine goes bad, it is costing us with inefficiencies that can be inexpensively eliminated with a renewing ECO treatment.

When ECO is added to an engine’s oil it is transported to the engine friction zones using the lubricant. ECO itself is not a lubricant or an oil additive. ECO does not include any Teflon, zinc, or chlorine. It is not toxic. ECO is instead a truly revolutionary friction metal treatment formula.

ECO will not modify the engine oil properties, but it will change the physical properties of the friction component metal. ECO particles are so small that they don’t clog up oil filters. Eventually there will be no ECO within the oil, as it will in time all be integrated into the oil bathed friction component metal. Because of the way ECO is deposited onto the oil bathed friction components, ECO will not help clutches. It must not be applied to clutches. The microscopic nano sized ECO particles are attracted by the engine’s friction energy, temperature, and microscopic electromagnetic fields to the surface of the friction zones. Using the friction energy as a catalyst ECO's molecules become activated to go through a physiochemical reaction and it diffuses into the friction component metal.

The ECO begins the process by cleaning the oxidized and corroded surface. Next the ECO begins to transform the surface metal to more of a composite of metal and ceramic material. Those friction surfaces take on the best properties of both the metal and the ceramic component, making it superior to both original materials for it’s functions within an engine, manual transmission, or other machine. ECO is not to be used in automatic transmissions unless the transmission is clutchless. Nor is ECO to be used in limited slip differentials.

Because an engine’s metal is porous, and the ECO is nano sized (microscopic), the ECO continues to integrate into the metal almost like a tree would grow into the earth. Instead of bonding merely on the surface like some other cermets, this nano sized ECO integrates anchoring fingers as deep as 300 microns. ECO can do that because the particles are 16-25 nanometers in size (documented in the patent). Once integrated, it becomes impossible to see where the metal ends and the ECO begins, because together they have become a single solid structure that is harder and smoother than the original metal surface, thus reducing friction and internal losses. By comparison, other typical coatings which lay on the friction metal surface sometimes flake away under extreme friction, load, or pressure. ECO is an irremovable bond.

The ECO replaces the Fe in the metal’s surface with Si to form a harder surface than the original metal. This new metal-ceramic surface then attracts at the atomic level minute metal particles within the lubricant to repair and rebuild the metal’s surface until optimized. ECO kills the friction. The harder an engine has to work the more fuel it uses. Therefore, when ECO greatly reduces the friction in an engine, that engine does its job with less work, and just one of the many benefits is the more efficient use of fuel.

As this process continues, the ECO restructures the ceramic-metal bond into smaller building blocks which make the surface stronger and smoother. With ECO the new friction surface becomes about 10 times as smooth, and as a result, an engine can operate without damage for a time even if there is a sudden catastrophic oil loss.

As ECO only works when there is excessive friction and heat, it is self regulating. ECO only rebuilds up to the point where the friction components no longer produce the necessary heat and energy to be activated. This new layer also protects the metal beneath from future oxidation and corrosion. The initial two phase treatment typically lasts about 60,000 miles. An engine properly treated and retreated with ECO could theoretically then last almost indefinitely. In equipment such as tractors and heavy equipment where there are hour meters instead of odometers the treatment will be optimally effective for about 2,500 hours.

If ECO is added to an engine which is in good condition the self regulating nature of the product can even improve an engine to better than new condition. The self regulating process never overbuilds, since the rebuilding stops as soon as the friction energy is nearly gone. Surfaces become harder while maintaining plasticity, and they become smoother, round components become more truly round (ellipticity), and clearances become optimized. ECO actually significantly improves the geometry of the mating parts in a working mechanism.

You may begin to notice improvements even within hours, but don’t change the oil until the ECO has finished its repair work. ECO will have done a lot of metal transforming in the first few hundred miles of use, but allow it to completely integrate into the friction metal before changing the oil. The ECO will for the most part have finished it’s engine repairing work in less than 2,000 miles in an engine using regular oil. Within an engine using synthetic oil the repairing process could take up to 3,500 miles. Once the ECO has disappeared from the lubrication and fully integrated into and onto the friction components you can return to your normal oil changes.

Types Of Friction Components Can ECO Transform: ECO can restore engine rings, lifters, cam lobes, rocker arms, and bearings, motors, gears, gearboxes, reducers, manual transmissions, oil pumps, turbochargers, axles, bearings, differentials, and many other kinds of machinery. ECO can do this restorative work totally without component disassembly. The more in a drive-train that is treated with ECO, the more friction losses are eliminated, and the more power is delivered to where the work culminates. In the case of vehicles, that means more power reaches the road with less fuel.

With Industrial & Manufacturing equipment ECO significantly reduces the electrical energy needs. With ECO you can save fuel/energy and lubricant expenses, down time, maintenance expenditures, overhaul costs, security, and your peace of mind. Since ECO renews metal on metal machines in so many ways, the restorative treatment pays for itself extremely quickly.

Types Of Equipment ECO Can Renew: ECO is already being used in fleets of vehicles, manufacturing, industrial, mass transit, and government applications. The types of equipment that ECO can renew is only limited by whether the friction components in those items can reach the necessary energy level to activate the restorative physiochemical reaction. For instance, try it in your cars, trucks, RV’s, big rigs, city & school busses, boats, race cars, dune buggies, generators, fork lifts, heavy equipment, locomotives, shipping, construction equipment, material handlers, maintenance equipment, logging equipment, skid steers, golf carts, motorcycles, prop engine aircraft, snowmobiles, jet skis, utility vehicles, ATV’s, riding lawn mowers, tractors, hydroelectric turbines, wind turbines, power plants, rototillers, chain saws, hydro-mechanical gearboxes, hydro-motors, hydro-distributors, reducers, compressors, machine tools, hammers, presses, stamping machines, industrial blowers, smoke extractors, and numerous other types of equipment.

This formulation is especially helpful for large diesel engine uses. ECO has been repairing engines in fleet trucking, shipping, rail, heavy equipment, mass transit, and farm industries worldwide – and ECO can make a big difference in your equipment as well.

Virtually every piece of equipment that is subject to excessive wear due to metal on metal friction can be restored and protected by ECO. Perthaps the best time to use ECO is in the breakin process in newly manufactured mechanisms, because ECO can harden and smooth out surfaces to better than new condition. The result then is greater life expectancy for those mechanisms. Your engines or other mechanisms will then outlast and outperform your competitors. Did you catch that racing fans?

When Is An Engine Too Far Gone For ECO Too Optimize: If an engine has very poor compression and/or the rods knock, ECO is not likely to miraculously transform that engine to like new. ECO might extend the life of such an engine if you needed some extra time to save funds before rebuilding or replacing it. When an engine is in at least fair shape it can have enough friction component left to work with to sometimes make the engine work better than new. So if your engine’s gas mileage is losing ground, oil use is increasing, the engine is a bit noisy, it idles erratically, and/or you see blue smoke, you still may have caught it early enough for ECO to significantly renew it.

For Those Who Have A Healthy Skepticism: ECO almost seems like science fiction in its amazing capabilities. However, this technology, even in it’s earlier more crude form, has been repairing worn engine friction components for decades. There are companies which have used ECO and discovered measurable, repeatable significant improvements in their engines. Instead of relying on testing by backyard enthusiasts and shade tree operations, our testing has been done by very professional organizations. There have been independent lab tests, independent university tests, independent government tests, and innumerable independent field tests that have repeatedly proved that ECO is a genuine astounding engine renewing discovery.

TRUCKING INDUSTRY: Long haul trucks usually have a 7% to 13% fuel consumption reduction. YRC Worldwide has an initial 8% decrease in fuel consuption, Hiner transport saved 9% on fuel, Ozark motor lines had an 8.61% decrease in fuel use, IWX Motor freight had a 7.09% improvement in fuel consumption, and SYSCO saved 12% on fuel consumption.

In addition, Claude Travis & Associates, a nationally recognized specialist in commercial vehicle fuel economy testing had this to say after doing SAE J1321 Type II Testing on ECO, "The installation of the company's ceramic-metal conditioner in the engine oil sump of the test vehicle demonstrated a significant and repeatable improvement in fuel economy." When Best Used Tractors asked Claude Travis how well ECO did compared to everything else he has tested he said that tests by most other competitors don't do any where near as well as ECO, and that a lot of the others would be of no benefit when comparing product expense with fuel savings. Remember this, fuel economy is only one of the many savings achieved with ECO, and the trucking industry is only one of the many that could benefit from the use of ECO. Of course, many trucks have generators built in for the air conditioning and other functions, and those generators will benefit even more from ECO than the vehicle engines.

RAIL: Rail normally has a fuel savings reduction in the 7% to 13% range. In Eastern Europe ECO is mandated to be used in ALL newly developed locomotives for the next 15 years.

SMALL VEHICLE FLEETS (Cars & Vans): As loads are usually a lot lower per vehicle in this category the typical fuel consumption savings is in the 7% to 20% range. That means ECO would be good for an average American's cars.

BUSES & FARM MACHINERY: Tour buses can do very well on fuel savings, but city buses and farm eqyuipment are more in the 2% to 7% range in fuel savings. The big pluses for this category are more in reduced smoke, reduced vibration and noise, more horsepower, and especially greater engine longevity with lower repair expenses. Tour bus company Groupo Estrella Blanca saved 7.7% on fuel consumption.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT: The fuel consumption improvements for this category are more in the 1% to 4% range since internal friction is a much smaller percentage of the overall resistance. While it is great to have fuel savings here the big plus for heavy equipment that uses ECO is how much longer the equipment can operate before any kind of engine overhaul, along with the more pleasant quieter, cleaner operation.

GENERATORS, MACHINERY, PUMPS, & COMPRESSORS: Because the only friction for these kinds of units is internal friction the fuel savings can be as high as 25%. For instance Chiquita Brands International had a 25.3% decrease in generator fuel consumption. If there are hotels, resorts, mining operations, remote oil drilling operations, or communities out there entirely dependent upong geneartors for their electrical power then ECO can save them an enormous amount of money.

SHIPPING: Although ships using ECO have saved on fuel they have saved an even bigger percentage on oil consumption. Tropical Shipping had the best fuel savings at 18.7%. G&G Shipping has not only a 15% savings in fuel consumption, but also a 42% decrease in oil consumtion, an 18% increase in horsepower, and even an 8% decrease in travel time. Marqyette Transportation (tugboat) had a 9.5% savings in fuel consumption, a 48% decrease in oil consumtion, a 15% increase in horsepower, and a 25% reduction in engine heat. Every shipping company should be using ECO.

AIR COOLED MOTORCYCLES: Although you may want to use ECO to preserve your motorcycle engine, and/or you would like to get better fuel efficiency, or less vibration, or cleaner exhaust, or more power, we suspect that you are more interested in ECO's ability to cool down that overheated engine between your legs. Why switch to a gas powered unit when you love this one - except for that excessive heat.

Do a test on just one of your engines, and you will surely end up using it in many of your other personal engines, and perhaps also in your business, utility, and/or government engines, motors, and other equipment. ECO is truly a genuine phenomenal technical advance that will change the way we repair and maintain metal friction components.
